Police seek 2 ‘people of interest’ in west valley shooting

Police say these men are people of interest in the April 17 shooting of Cassandra Lee Cassidy.

Metro Police are seeking the public's help in finding two men believed to be connected with the shooting death of a woman earlier this month in the west valley.

Police say the two men are people of interest in the killing Cassandra Lee Cassidy, 24, of Las Vegas.

Cassidy was sitting in her parked car April 17 in the 1300 block of Westwind Avenue near a residence when two women walked up to her and said they were scared of two men in a vehicle behind them. The vehicle then drove up to the three women and fired multiple shots, hitting Cassidy, who later died at University Medical Center Trauma, according to police.

The other two women were not hit, police said.

Michael De Angelo Scott, 21, also known as "Bones", is described as a black man with multiple tattoos. He weighs 150 pounds and is 6 feet tall, according to police.

Jehru Petty-Williams, 18, also known as "Louie Vee", is also described as a black man with tattoos. He weighs 130 pounds and is 5-foot-5, police said.
