Metro Police are investigating a fatal stabbing in the southwest valley late Wednesday.
Leonard Woods has been identified as the suspect in the slaying.
Authorities were alerted to the incident at 8:20 a.m. near Tropicana Avenue and Decatur Boulevard, Officer Michael Rodriguez said.
Police closed lanes of traffic on Decatur during the investigation.
The identity of the victim is unknown. No other details were available.
Police urge anyone with knowledge of Woods’ whereabouts to contact 311 immediately.
