A 22-year-old man was critically injured early today when the pickup truck he was driving hit a concrete barrier along Warm Springs Road and crashed into a streetlight pole, according to Metro Police.
The 2005 Nissan Frontier was east on Warm Springs about 4:20 a.m. when it drifted off the road and hit the barrier, police said. It crossed Tenaya Way, crashed into the pole and stopped in a landscaped area, police said.
The driver, Joseph M. Rosales of Las Vegas was taken to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, police said. He was not wearing a seat belt, police said.
The crash is under investigation.
