Man in police custody after North Las Vegas barricade

A man barricaded himself inside a North Las Vegas house following a domestic disturbance this afternoon, according to police.

Police responded about 2:45 p.m. to the scene in the 2800 block of Kildare Cove Court, near Losee Road and Tropical Parkway, Officer Aaron Patty said.

No injuries were reported, and the man is not believed to have had any weapons, Patty said.

The suspect was taken into police custody about 6 p.m., he said.

No major street closures were reported due to the incident.
