Incident
One person was taken to University Medical Center after being hit by a vehicle near Decatur Boulevard and Sahara Avenue tonight, according to Metro Police.
Police were called about 8:50 p.m. to the scene, Lt. Kendall Bell said.
The pedestrian was taken to UMC with injuries believed to be nonlife-threatening, he said.
Police could not verify the gender of the pedestrian or if the person was in a crosswalk during the incident, but a witness told police a male running across the street was hit by a Ford Expedition.
