Stabbing
One person died in a stabbing this afternoon in the parking lot of a Spring Valley strip mall, according to Metro Police.
Police reported about 5:30 p.m. to the 6600 block of West Flamingo Road, near Torrey Pines Drive, after receiving word of a person being stabbed, Lt. Kendall Bell said.
A male of unknown age was taken to University Medical Center, where was pronounced dead, Bell said.
No suspects are in custody, he said.
