A 41-year-old man is in critical condition after being struck by a car Saturday night.
According to Metro Police, Jason Miller was pushing a shopping cart across North Wardelle Street, near Bonanza Road, about 6:35 p.m. When he reached the northwest corner of the intersection, Miller suddenly darted into the crosswalk of westbound Bonanza, a press release said.
Miller was hit by a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica traveling west on Bonanza and was transported to University Medical Center unit with life-threatening injuries.
The driver and passenger of the Chrysler 2005 were not injured in the crash, according to the release.
The accident is under investigation.
