GOP presidential candidate Marco Rubio speaks to the media while stopping at the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop during his first visit to Las Vegas as declared candidate Thursday, May 28, 2015.

Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio is moving his pre-debate rally in Las Vegas to a different location.

Rubio's campaign says the 2 p.m. Monday rally is being held in a ballroom at the Renaissance Las Vegas hotel at 3400 Paradise Rd.

The campaign stop had originally been scheduled for the Green Valley Ranch Resort in Henderson.

Rubio's campaign declined to provide the reason for moving the event.

The rally comes a day before Rubio and several other Republican presidential hopefuls appear for a CNN debate at the Venetian, owned by billionaire Republican donor Sheldon Adelson.
