Coroner IDs man hit by pickup truck on Boulder Highway

A man hit and killed by pickup truck Tuesday near Boulder Highway and Tropicana Avenue has been identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office as Gerrell Antoine Govan, 39, of Las Vegas.

Govan was crossing Boulder Highway outside of a marked crosswalk about 10 p.m. when he was hit, Metro Police said. He was pronounced dead at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.

Govan died of multiple blunt force injuries, and the death was ruled accidental, according to the Coroner’s Office.
