Man, 19, held in slaying in North Las Vegas parking lot

A 20-year-old woman is dead and a 19-year-old man is being held on a murder charge in what police are calling a domestic violence argument in the parking lot of a North Las Vegas gas station convenience store.

The Clark County coroner on Monday identified the dead woman as Tineshea Antovia Adams of Las Vegas.

North Las Vegas police Officer Aaron Patty says Adams was pronounced dead at University Medical Center after the shooting a little before 10 p.m. Sunday near Craig Road and Martin Luther King Boulevard.

The name of her alleged assailant wasn't immediately made public.

Patty says it appears the two argued before Adams was shot.

It's not clear yet what the argument was about.
