The Nevada Department of Corrections is looking for an inmate who walked away from the Jean Conservation Camp, officials said.

Mary Mitchell, 44, was discovered missing about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday during an inmate count, the department said. She reportedly walked away from the minimum-custody facility.

Mitchell arrived at Jean Conservation Camp on Nov. 24 from the Florence McClure Women’s Correctional Center. She was serving a 20- to 50-month sentence for grand larceny, theft and burglary, officials said.

Mitchell is 5 feet 4 inches tall with a slender build, brown eyes and dark brown hair. She has multiple tattoos, including tattooed makeup liners on her eyes and lips.

Anyone with information on Mitchell’s whereabouts should contact their local law enforcement agency.
