A Metro Police corrections officer was arrested Wednesday on a misdemeanor prostitution-related count, according to police.
Robert Moore was arrested on a count of "unlawful prostitution act" and taken to the Las Vegas City Jail, police said.
He has been released, though details of his release and the arrest were not immediately available.
Moore has been employed by Metro since May 2005, and he is on paid administrative leave "pending the outcome of the internal and criminal investigations," police said in a statement today.
