A burglary investigation this morning at an east valley house resulted in a drug bust that recovered more than 100 pounds of marijuana, more than 2,000 pills of Ecstasy and about $150,000 in cash, Metro Police said.

Patrol officers were called to a house in the 2000 block of Brassy Drive, located near Sloan Lane and Sahara Avenue, about 8:40 a.m. to investigate a reported burglary in progress, Metro said in a statement.

Officers arrested five juveniles in connection with the burglary, but during the investigation, police discovered the house was being used to store illegal narcotics, Metro said.

Police found more than 30 pounds of psychedelic mushrooms, hash oil, a quarter-pound of cocaine and sheets of LSD within the residence, Metro said.

Detectives are on scene, and the investigation is ongoing.

No arrests have been made in connection with the drugs, police said.
