A Clark County grand jury has indicted a man accused of killing an elderly couple and keeping their bodies in a Las Vegas storage unit for more than a decade.

Robert Dunn faces two counts of murder with a deadly weapon in the 2003 deaths of Joaquin and Eleanor Sierra, county prosecutors said Wednesday. Dunn was also indicted on two counts of robbery and 11 counts of theft. He stole the Sierras' Social Security checks totaling $200,000, according to a Metro Police crime report.

An investigation determined that Dunn had befriended the couple in Las Vegas in 1999, and in 2002 the three moved together to Reno. Two crime reports were filed to the Reno Police Department and Nevada Department of Health & Human Services reporting that Dunn was a suspect in defrauding the couple.

The Sierras were last seen in February 2003 when they moved back to Las Vegas with Dunn.

Authorities found the couple's remains last April in trash cans in a unit at All Storage at the Lakes, 2949 Lake East Drive.
