A 13-year-old boy critically injured Friday when he was hit by a car while riding his bicycle in the southwest valley has died, authorities said.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office identified the teen as Cameron Demaranville of Las Vegas.
Demaranville was riding his bike about 8:30 p.m. Friday on Jones Boulevard when he was struck in a crosswalk at Russell Road by a 2003 Toyota Corolla, Metro Police said. The teen and his bike were wedged under the car, police said.
Demaranville was taken to University Medical Center, where he died Sunday. The exact cause of death has not yet been determined, according to the Coroner’s Office.
