RENO — Reno police investigating an apparent murder-suicide say they found three dead cats as well as the bodies of two women in the backyard of a Reno home.
Lt. Tim Broadway said Thursday investigators are not looking for any suspects in connection with Tuesday night's shootings. The names of the victims who were roommates have not been released.
Broadway said the two women and three cats all had gunshot wounds. He said a firearm was found in the yard of the home in south-central Reno on Brentwood Drive near Vaughn Middle School.
