Two juveniles were hospitalized, one with a possibly broken femur, after being hit by vehicles in separate incidents this afternoon in the Las Vegas Valley, Metro Police said.
A fifth-grade boy was transported to University Medical Center's Trauma Center after being hit by a vehicle near Owens Avenue and Lamb Boulevard, Lt. Mark Reddon said.
The boy called police and told them he was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk, Reddon said.
Police are awaiting test results to see if the boy suffered a broken femur, he said.
