One person was wounded in the leg in an apparent drive-by shooting Sunday night in the central valley, Metro Police said.
Police received a report about 9:50 p.m. of the shooting in the 2500 block of Wooly Rose Avenue, near West Washington Avenue and North Rancho Drive, Office Larry Hadfield said.
One person was taken to University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, he said.
No further details about the victim were available.
Metro’s violent crimes section is investigating the shooting, Hadfield said.
