A pedestrian was transported to the hospital this afternoon after being hit by a scooter near UNLV.
Police received a report about 5 p.m. of an accident with injury near the intersection of Harmon Avenue and Paradise Road, Lt. Ken Romaine said.
The pedestrian was transported to Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center with unknown injuries, he said.
The driver of the scooter remained on scene.
