Police seek the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a Henderson Chase Bank on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Henderson Police:

The man went into the bank, at 75 Valle Verde Drive, about 5:30 p.m., then pointed a firearm at a clerk and demanded money.

A teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash, and the man fled by car.

There were no customers in the bank at the time, and no one was hurt.

The white male suspect was wearing a ballistic vest over a light-blue long-sleeve shirt with heavy padding, black pants and boots. He also was wearing gloves, a mask, a hood and sunglasses.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Henderson Police Department at 702-267-4750 or, to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or visit crimestoppersofnv.com. Tips directly leading to an arrest or an indictment processed through Crime Stoppers may result in a cash reward.

This is the third Henderson-area bank robbery in the past three weeks. The first was at U.S. Bank inside Smith's in the same shopping center on June 16, and the second was at a U.S. Bank at 10565 S. Eastern Ave., near Horizon Ridge Parkway, on June 23.
