After a six-year run as the managing partner of XS and Tryst nightclubs, Jesse Waits has resigned from the Wynn.

XS is at the Encore, and Tryst is at the Wynn.

Michael Weaver, senior vice president of Wynn marketing, confirmed Waits' resignation in a statement:

"Jesse Waits, formerly the managing partner of XS and Tryst nightclubs, has left the company. Both XS and Tryst will continue under the current Wynn management teams, who have made the clubs extraordinarily successful. There will be no additional changes in our nightclub operations or programming."

Waits opened XS in 2009. It has since turned into the top-grossing nightclub in the country, based on Nightclub & Bar's Top 100 list, for five years running. Tryst came in close behind at ninth on the list.

Waits and the Wynn team could not be reached for confirmation of where Waits is headed next.
