PHOENIX — A 44-year-old man convicted in Nevada in the 1997 killing of a woman has been extradited to Arizona where he faces murder and kidnapping charges.
An Arizona court document says Craig Leslie Jacobsen, also known as John Flowers, was extradited Thursday from Carson City, Nevada, and taken into custody at a Phoenix airport.
Information on the Arizona charges was not immediately available, and it's also not clear how Arizona authorities got custody of him before he finished a term of 20 years to life in Nevada.
Jacobsen was convicted in the killing of a 20-year-old singer, Ginger Rios, who disappeared after she went to Jacobsen's store in Las Vegas.
Her body was found buried in a desert grave in southern Arizona. Another woman's body was found buried nearby.
