A man was shot in the abdomen late Sunday night in the northeast valley, according to Metro Police.
Police were called about 11:50 p.m. to the 2200 block of North Tomlinson Lane, near East Carey Avenue and North Christy Lane, Officer Jesse Roybal said.
The man was taken to University Medical Center with injuries that did not appear life threatening, he said.
Information about a suspect or motive for the shooting was not immediately available.
