Plane dropping candy crashes, killing 2 in Wyoming

AUBURN, Wyo. — A small plane that was dropping candy on an event below crashed in western Wyoming, killing two men.
Twenty-two-year-old Brad Lefevre and 64-year-old Chad Burton were killed in the crash just before 7 p.m. Tuesday. They were both residents of the Afton area in Star Valley.
The plane went down close to homes about 5 miles northwest of Afton, but Lincoln County sheriff's officials say nobody on the ground was hurt. The cause is under investigation.
Sheriff's officials declined to say what sort of event was taking place.
