A man was taken to the hospital, and Metro Police are investigating after a report of an early morning stabbing near downtown Las Vegas.
Officers were dispatched at 5:53 a.m. to the 2200 block of Sunrise Avenue, near Fremont Street, where they found a man who was injured, Officer Jesse Roybal said. It was not immediately clear if he was actually stabbed.
He was transported to University Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries, Roybal said.
Police are looking for another person believed to have been involved in the altercation.
