Fire forced two adults and an infant from a central valley apartment this morning, but nobody was injured, Clark County Fire Department officials said.
The fire was reported shortly after 7 a.m. at a two-story building at 3958 Torsby Place, in the area of Flamingo Road and Swenson Street.
When firefighters arrived, heavy smoke and flames were coming from a first-floor apartment, officials said. The occupants had already escaped, officials said.
Crews stopped the blaze from spreading to the second floor, officials said. The cause of the fire was under investigation, and the extent of damage was still being assessed, officials said.
