A pedestrian who died Wednesday afternoon after being struck by a car in the south valley has been identified as Barbara Jean Brown, 65, of Las Vegas, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
Brown died of multiple blunt-force injuries, the Coroner’s Office said.
The incident happened about noon in the 2400 block of Wigwam Avenue, near Las Vegas Boulevard South, according to Metro Police. She was about 400 feet east of the nearest crosswalk when she was hit by a 2012 Honda Civic, police said.
The driver remained on scene and called police. He passed a field sobriety test, police said.
