Comedy Central’s popular half-booze, half-history show is coming to Las Vegas.
Comedian and “Drunk History” mastermind Derek Waters announced Wednesday that he will be at Atomic Liquors downtown Saturday to hear about Las Vegans’ favorite (or least favorite) things about their city.
“Drunk History” began as a web series in 2007 and has since become a Comedy Central darling, premiering its third season later this year.
The show combines two of America’s great loves: drinking, and ourselves. Each episode centers on one American city as Waters gets fellow comedians to retell a historical event from that city. Their drunken ramblings are then lavishly acted out by celebrities ranging from Michael Cera to Courtney Cox.
The event goes from 7-11 p.m. Atomic is located at 917 Fremont St.
