Two men in an SUV were found dead with apparent gunshot wounds Wednesday after officers were called to investigate a suspicious vehicle at an apartment complex in the northeast valley, Metro Police said.

Patrol officers were dispatched about 9:30 a.m. to the complex in the 1400 block of North Sandhill Road, near Owens Avenue and Pecos Road, where they found the men in the front driver and passenger seats, police said.

They appeared to have been shot and were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

No suspects have been identified, and no motive has been determined, police said.

The identity of the victims, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

The vehicle, a gray Dodge Durango, had been parked at the apartment complex since Tuesday evening, police said.
