A woman was stabbed yesterday afternoon in the south valley.
According to Metro Police, officers were dispatched to a home in the 3900 block of Calle Del Sol, near West Flamingo Road and South Decatur Boulevard, around 12:50 p.m. A woman was located with multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Metro's preliminary investigation indicated that the victim was at the home with one other subject. The victim appeared to have been stabbed several times, and a man went to a local store and called the police.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released by the Clark County Coroner's Office.
