Police seeking suspect in North Las Vegas bank robbery

North Las Vegas Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man accused of robbing a bank last week.

Officers responded to the 2200 block of East Lake Mead Boulevard Thursday after witnesses reported a man who appeared to have a handgun under his clothes approach a teller and demand money.

The man took the money and fled the scene in an old looking, two-toned silver car, according to police.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his early to mid 30's, about 5'6" and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red baseball hat, a red jersey with the words, "Venezuela" printed on the front and "Rodriguez 75" printed on the back in white lettering. He was wearing black jeans.

Anyone with information is urged to call the North Las Vegas Police Department at 702-633-9111 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
