Two suspects were arrested after a barricade situation in a northwest valley apartment complex where shots were reported this morning.
Police were called to the 2100 block of Citrus Hills Avenue, near Lake Mead Boulevard and Tonopah Drive, after a resident at the complex reported shots in a second floor apartment, police said.
A perimeter was set up at the complex.
West Preparatory Academy was placed on a soft lockdown — meaning people can exit the school but not enter — while police investigated.
The two suspects, Roy Diggs, 78, and Bossome Diggs, 81, have both been arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon on a protected person and misdemeanor contempt of court.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
