A motorcyclist is dead after a crash on State Route 169 in Overton, Nevada Highway Patrol said.
Officers were called to the highway at Mile Marker 8 just before 3 p.m.
A man on a black Harley-Davidson crashed and was pronounced dead on scene, NHP Trooper Chelsea Stuenkel said. No other vehicles were involved.
Both southbound travel lanes on State Route 169 in Overton were closed during the investigation.
The accident remains under investigation.
