Two drivers were hurt this morning in separate rollover crashes, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

A man was injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash just before 7 a.m. near U.S. 95 and West Lake Mead Boulevard, Trooper Loy Hixson said.

The driver of the four-door Chevy was taken to University Medical Center with injuries that did not appear life threatening, troopers said.

The left lane of West Lake Mead was temporarily blocked, but the accident scene has since been cleared, Hixson said.

In the other wreck, the driver of a Ford pickup suffered injuries that didn’t appear life threatening after a rollover accident about 6 a.m. on Interstate 15 near Blue Diamond Road, Trooper Chelsea Stuenkel said.

The injured person, whose gender and age were not immediately available, was taken to University Medical Center.

The right lanes of the interstate were blocked but have since reopened, according to Stuenkel and the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada.
