Metro Police investigate a fatal shooting on Royal Crest Circle near Twain Avenue and Swenson Street Monday, May 11, 2015.

A man was shot and killed this afternoon near Twain Avenue and Swenson Street, Metro Police said.
Police received a report about 2:15 p.m. of gunshots in the 1600 block of Royal Crest Circle, Officer Laura Meltzer said. Officers located a man on the ground with apparent gunshot wounds, she said.
He was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, Meltzer said.
No arrests have been made.
