One person is in the hospital after a shooting this afternoon in the west valley, Metro Police said.
Police were called about 2:30 p.m. to the 1500 Block of Jones Boulevard, near Vegas Drive, after a person was reported to have suffered a gunshot wound, police said.
The victim, whose condition was not immediately available, was taken to University Medical Center, police said.
Police were looking for two male suspects, Officer Michael Rodriguez said. The area has been cordoned off while police search.
