The second day of the Gumball 3000 road rally celebration in Las Vegas has been canceled, according to a rally spokesperson.

Festivities at the end of the rally were scheduled for today and Saturday at the MGM Resorts Village, but the second day of the event has been canceled, according to a statement from Gumball 3000.

The statement said “unforeseen circumstances” were behind the cancellation but provided no further details.

Performances by DJs Diplo and Skrillex have been canceled, but professional skateboarder Tony Hawk will still do a demonstration, now scheduled for 9 p.m. today.

Musical acts Eve, Bun B, and The Alchemist will also perform.

Tickets for the event will now be free at the MGM Resorts Village main gate, and people who purchased tickets will have their money refunded, officials said.

The rally began May 23 in Stockholm, Sweden, and participants drove through part of Europe before flying to Reno. From there, they drove to San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Drivers were scheduled to arrive today at the finish line at MGM Resorts Village.
