Motorcycle involved in reported injury crash in west valley

Metro Police say they are investigating an afternoon crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle in the west valley.

Officers were called about 5:50 p.m. to investigate a reported crash with injury near Fort Apache and Spring Mountain roads, according to police.

Metro's fatal detail is investigating the crash, and major road restrictions were in effect in the area, Lt. Tom Melton said.

The fatal detail investigates serious-injury and fatal crashes.

Police declined to give further details, but Melton said things didn't "look good" for the motorcyclist.
