Homicide detectives were investigating a death Wednesday afternoon near Charleston Boulevard and Buffalo Drive, according to Metro Police.
Police were called to do a welfare check about 5:45 p.m. at a residence in the 1100 block of Plantation Court, Officer Larry Hadfield said.
Officers located a dead body inside the home, and homicide detectives were called because of the "very suspicious" circumstances surrounding the death, Hadfield said.
