A woman was arrested Friday night on suspicion of DUI after running a red light and crashing into another vehicle, injuring several people, according to Metro Police.
Also according to police:
Melissa Williams, 40, of Las Vegas was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox north on Buffalo Drive about 9:20 p.m. She went through a red light at Gowan Road and crashed into an eastbound 2002 Pontiac Sunfire.
A 16-year-old girl in the Pontiac was ejected; she was taken to UMC Trauma in critical condition. The Pontiac’s 20-year-old driver, Danielle Byerly of Las Vegas, and three juveniles suffered minor to moderate injuries. Williams also suffered minor injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
