Coroner IDs motorcyclist, 21, killed in east valley crash with Hummer

A 21-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash with a Hummer in the east valley Saturday night has been identified as Las Vegas resident Victor Alejandro Gonzalez, according to the Clark County Coroner's Office.

Gonzalez died of multiple blunt-force injuries at the scene, near Charleston Boulevard and Sacramento Drive, east of U.S. 95, according to Metro Police and the Coroner's Office.

A westbound Hummer H2 was turning left from Charleston onto southbound Sacramento about 10:10 p.m. when the right front of the Hummer was hit by the eastbound motorcycle, police said.

Gonzalez and the passenger on the motorcycle were ejected, and the passenger was transported to University Medical Center with critical injuries, police said.

The Hummer driver fled on foot without stopping to help, but a passenger remained at the scene, police said.
