Walgreens offering flu shots at Las Vegas senior centers

Staff from Walgreens pharmacies will be providing flu shots at two Las Vegas senior centers this week.

Cash and certain types of insurance will be accepted at the flu-shot clinics. Insurance cards must be presented.

The first clinic by Walgreens, for people ages 50 and older, will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Centennial Hills Active Adult Center, 6601 N. Buffalo Drive. The cost without insurance is $31.99. No appointment is necessary, but anyone with questions can call 702-229-1702.

The second clinic will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the East Las Vegas Community Center, 250 N. Eastern Ave.

Walgreens pharmacists will administer this year’s flu vaccine on a first-come, first-served basis to people ages 8 and older. The cost without insurance is $25.99, and some vouchers will be available for low-income families. For more information, call 702-229-1515.
