One day before the Democratic presidential debate in Las Vegas, Hillary Rodham Clinton is polling far ahead of other Democratic presidential contenders in Nevada, according to a new CNN/ORC poll.

Clinton holds 50 percent of the support from likely primary voters, with U.S. Sen Bernie Sanders trailing at 34 percent and Vice President Joe Biden, who has not yet announced a run, at 12 percent. Other candidates tested in the polls — former Virginia senator Jim Webb, former Rhode Island governor Lincoln Chafee, former Maryland governor Martin O’Malley and Harvard professor Larry Lessig — received less than 1 percent support.

Should Biden decide not to run, Clinton’s support would jump to 58 percent while Sanders increases to 36 percent.

The poll was conducted from Oct. 3 to Oct. 10, one week before the Democratic presidential debate at the Wynn Las Vegas on Tuesday evening.
