A woman killed by SWAT officers Thursday after police say she fired a gun from a stolen car has been identified as 50-year-old Linda Lee Lush, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

Lush, whose city of residence was not immediately available, refused to get out of the car and waved a gun in a shopping center parking lot near Jones Boulevard and Spring Mountain Road, according to Metro Police.

She was seen driving erratically near Desert Inn Road and Rainbow Boulevard before stopping in the lot, and when officers approached, she fired at least one shot, police said. No officers were injured, but Lush was fatally shot, police said.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
