A California man whose body was found in the desert near Jean earlier this month has been identified as 37-year-old Bruce James Macias, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
Metro Police were called about 12:50 p.m. Oct. 8 to a desert area near Interstate 15, about three miles south of Jean, where the body was found, Officer Larry Hadfield said.
The cause and manner of death have not yet been released by the Coroner’s Office.
