Mishap
A bicyclist was taken to the hospital this afternoon after an east valley crash involving a vehicle, according to Metro Police.
Police were called to the scene of a traffic incident involving an injury near Lake Mead Boulevard and Sloan Lane about 5 p.m., Lt. Tom Melton said.
The bicyclist, whose age and gender were not immediately available, was taken to an area hospital, and police could not provide information on the person's condition.
There are travel restrictions on westbound Lake Mead due to the crash, Melton said.
Metro's traffic bureau is investigating.
