Traffic roundup: Separate crashes close lanes on U.S. 95

Two crashes on U.S. 95 were blocking lanes on the highway this afternoon, according to the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada.

A crash reported about 4:30 p.m. southbound past Rancho Drive caused property damage, and drivers were advised to expect delays, as the accident was blocking the left lane, according to the RTC and Nevada Highway Patrol.

Meanwhile, a crash on northbound U.S. 95 at Casino Center Boulevard also blocked a left lane, according to the RTC.

Another crash on the 215 Beltway eastbound near Gibson Road blocked the left and right shoulders about 5:10 p.m., according to the RTC.

• The center lane on Interstate 15 southbound was blocked past Sahara Avenue about 5:30 p.m. after a crash, according to an RTC alert.

• Also, a white sedan hit a light pole and turned onto its side near Industrial Road and St. Louis Avenue, blocking part of the roadway about 4:40 p.m., according to Metro Police.

An adult driver and a juvenile in the vehicle were assisted out of the car by passers-by and taken to a hospital, Lt. Will Huddler said.

Clark County electricians were on scene to repair the light pole, he said.

• Earlier this morning, a crash on the 215 Beltway near Stephanie Street blocked a left lane. The RTC sent an alert about the incident about 11:30 a.m.
