51s tied for division lead going into regular season’s last two games

The Las Vegas 51s won a close game and tied El Paso for the division lead Saturday.

With their 8-7 home win over Tacoma, the 51s drew even with El Paso in the Pacific Coast League’s Pacific Southern division after the Chihuahuas swept a doubleheader Saturday at Reno.

El Paso (77-65) edged into the division lead with 10-0 and 4-2 victories over the Aces.

Both Las Vegas (77-65) and El Paso have two games remaining. The 51s face the Rainiers at 7:05 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Cashman Field, while the Chihuahuas play at Reno Sunday and Monday.
