An Allegiant Air flight headed to Las Vegas from Bismarck, N.D., made an emergency landing Monday evening in Utah, according to the airline.

Allegiant Flight 487, which left Bismarck about 3:40 p.m., experienced a "possible maintenance issue" in air and landed safely about 6:15 p.m. in St. George, according to a statement from Allegiant.

The plane had 141 passengers and six crew members, the statement said.

Passengers were taken to Las Vegas on another plane that landed just after midnight, according to Allegiant.

Luggage from Flight 487 is expected to be delivered to McCarran International Airport this afternoon, and if passengers cannot pick up their luggage, it will be delivered, the airline said.

All passengers will be given $100 travel vouchers, and an extra $50 voucher will be given to passengers who pick up their luggage from McCarran, according to Allegiant.
