Police arrested a man Wednesday night in connection with a shooting in North Las Vegas, according to a police spokesman.
North Las Vegas Police were called about 6 p.m. to an area near Clayton Street and Carey Avenue, where a man was critically injured in a shooting, according to Officer Aaron Patty.
The man was taken to University Medical Center, Patty said.
Another man was arrested after the shooting, he said, though the suspect’s name and the charges he faces were not released.
Police are not seeking any other suspects, he said.
